Alexey Shchepin won the Erlang User of the Year 2006 award. He has been honoured for his work on ejabberd XMPP server, the High-Performance Instant Messaging system.

The Erlang User of the Year award has been presented during the 12th International Erlang/OTP User Conference that took place on 9th November 2006.

This is major recognition for the work Alexey achieved on ejabberd XMPP server. It’s a testimonial of the quality, performance and scalability of the software.
